Part walk, part crawl, sort-of awareness exercise, participants discovered and collected the textures from the suburban surroundings. They converged, stayed awhile, acknowledged, recorded and shared a social and geographical commonality
This event transformed transit routes such as streets, alleys and sidewalks into places to congregate and examine, rather than move through. Utility covers were impressed and recorded, cracks in the sidewalk offered up their grooves, and walls gathered rather than divided.
